About Malcolm Sobers
1968 was the early beginnings of Conversion, calling, ministry formation, and later Bible School
training and preparation as foundation for ministry.
Malcolm met Anita during Bible School training between years 1970-1974 and they later married in
April of 1975, they raised five grown children.
From 1975-1989, they were involved in pastoral ministry; Church Planting within a denominational
structure; organizational and network ministry among Leadership at all levels. They gained lots of
experience during this period, while working among the Churches and Ministers in Guyana, South
America.
In 1989-1994, they set up a base in Bridgetown, Barbados, and later another in St John's, Antigua; and yet another in Georgetown,
Guyana, under the name, Caribbean Outreach Ministries Int'l. They made connection with at least one key person in every English
speaking nation in the Caribbean, so they became a bridge and link for many ministers and leaders in the Caribbean.
Caribbean Outreach Ministries (COM) focused on helping, encouraging, linking, connecting and motivating Caribbean leaders in missions,
evangelism, and various kinds of outreach ministries. They placed a lot of emphasis on unity, thriving for "Unity in the Body of Christ", Eph:
4:2. They also focused on collective kingdom activities, and relationship among leaders in the cities / towns.
In 1995, COM moved to Guyana and set up another branch of the ministry until they moved to Belize in 2000.
From 2000-2008, the emphasis of the ministry in Belize, Central America changed. The focus shifted to hurting, wounded, and broken
pastors and leaders. Out of their experience, they were equipped to successfully counsel, minister to, and restore ministers and leaders.
The ministry base in Belize City functions more as a Christian counseling center, and opened to both the churched and non-Churched
individuals.
Over the years, these are the general areas of ministry, they were involved in, some of it was deliberately planned, and some in the course
of their ministry in the Caribbean and other nations.
1.
Helping and encouraging Church leaders in the Body of Christ.
2.
Raising up young men and women in leadership and ministry.
3.
